I’m with you on this. I’m redirecting my thoughts to those written in Zechariah 4:6 NKJV. So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts. I don’t think we are to try and legislate so called “righteousness” and despite the American church’s misdirection, I believe God still wants to save all of us….perhaps mostly from ourselves. I’m praying for eyes to be opened (to the obvious before them) and to learn to live as Jesus taught. God’s Spirit is the only thing holding me together in this heartbreaking and terrifying time and I believe it is truly the only thing that can change people’s hearts. And I will still be calling the appropriate elected officials. So praying…calling and trying to live humbly.
