We need a broad coalition of individuals and organizations opposing the Medicaid Cuts and putting pressure on legislators in swing districts to remove them from the budget. An ad hoc group in Vermont is working to get hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers, and town selectboards to adopt a resolution calling for the defeat of this budget. We have prepared a memorandum, a one-page summary, a draft resolution, and a short video that explains how these cuts would devastate rural health care and severely effect local economies.
