As I read this I wasn't thinking conspiracy or math; I was thinking how ridiculously narrow a window of time Dave Mild has to catch the bullet in the frame assuming he did it reflexively. In other words, maybe it was just luck, or maybe he started to hold down that shutter when he heard the pop. Either way, very rare.
