Follow up: It's interesting that politicians and media trotted out the 'Mostly peaceful protests' narrative again for the LA anti-ICE riots. It's only been five years since using that line for the George Floyd riots. They must realize it's a little soon to go back to that well again. They're making it a point to repeat that LA is 500 square miles and all the rioting is 'only' taking place in a one square mile area. They're also acknowledging that it's a suspicious narrative but claiming it's only because media and social media video only focus on the fires and violence and property damage. It's intellectual sophistry and incredibly lazy.
