I am really enjoying the background to all these songs I’ve been listening to for some time now. What great storytelling. The depth to this songwriting has something which allows one to listen repeatedly without losing the luster and awe of the music. I coin the term for this phenomenon “hedonic persistance”, and most music really fails in this respect. Please keep the stories coming, and never stop writing. The long-form Conquistador was and is one of my favorites, and I love to have friends listen to it with me on long car rides and see how they react.
