As a retired attorney who represented FQHCs and other community-based health centers, I had to spend an egregious amount of time with the HIPAA regulations when they first came out. Out of that experience, I particularly appreciated your discussion about the HIPAA violation allegations relating to Dr. Haim, which I thought exceedingly fair-minded and well-grounded in your own experience and expertise. We can all benefit from your example of how to discuss these very fraught issues, as we absolutely must to have a chance at getting this area of health care back on track.
