Oy! When I was living in a fourth floor Brooklyn walk up, I had a washing machine delivered. I paid extra to have them deliver it and carried up the stairs and install it. I don’t know what happened, but my neighbors signed for it and accepted it. Then they bitched about me getting it out of their house. I specifically paid extra because I couldn’t carry a washing machine up for flights upstairs. Who signs for a major appliance that’s not theirs?
