I think you’re right that these are helpful contributions to the sort of debate that Troutner is tracking right now in terms of “NeoChalcedonian” considerations. I like two turns of phrase from Milbank: “more exotic than heterodox” and “hyperbolic orthodoxy” both reframe these explorations in helpful ways.
