I'm deeply saddened by what became of EVRYMAN. Many men, staff, leaders, and participants poured their hearts into something that, at its core, was about men growing together and supporting each other's transformation. Over time, more of us began seeing the cracks in the foundation and made the difficult choice to step away.

Duncan, Mike, and I fought to hold things together through the chaos, beyond any brand or business interest, for the men doing this essential work. We only left when it became clear that the principles we stood for, safety, honesty, and putting our shared mission above personal gain, were no longer possible within that structure.

Leaving was one of the most painful decisions I've ever made. I know many men felt blindsided, and they had every right to. The controlled narrative around our departure left so much unsaid, and I deeply regret that I couldn't be more transparent at the time. I also know that this work transcends any single organization's rise or fall. As we have seen with what we built with the Sandpoint Men's Group over twenty years ago, the foundation that helped launch this entire movement still works when it's anchored in integrity and service.

One of my teachers once told me, "Your greatest teachers are your biggest challenges." EVRYMAN became exactly that for me. I am continuing to unpack my learnings.

I hope that from the ashes, we build something that honors the commitment and efforts of many.
