Odd. I’ve had the trilogy on my shelf for over a year. Just started Lord Fouls Bane and I’m a couple hundred pages into it. Donaldson gave himself a big task to take a leperous, rapist as a main character and make it work. I’m interested to see how he does it. That more than anything is what’s driving me forward through the “long walk” of the first part.
