I’ve had multiple therapists throughout my life so far and I definitely think some are seasonal in your life. They almost have a specialism and when you’re in a different chapter, you need a different perspective and different support. I’d say, doesn’t have to be all or nothing, maybe explore working with a someone whose got good reviews of working with post partum mums. You can always go back to this woman, at another point, if you’re feeling the inclination
I’ve definitely felt I have to stay ‘loyal’ to a therapist but it’s never worked out when i haven’t put my needs first. ❤️
