Brilliant article and as someone else has said “get the biography done”. I’d never heard of Fowler’s Match - so had to Google it - sounds like a great two days and Alexander a great bowler. Very sad to see that many of the players didn’t survive the Great War, which was the case with many of the public schools - maybe the “lost generation” is truer than we think.
