I was just writing about my memories from Basquiat's legendary exhibition in London in 2017 at Barbican Center and how much the exhibition/him influenced me. While doing research for this piece, I discovered that the Barbican once made a Basquiat-inspired playlist and I just went ahead digging into his favourite artists - fell in love with David Byrne (Strange Overtones, Life is Long)
