Sometimes the only way to be the village is to leave positive waves in your wake.
I can't interact with people anymore; pain and fatigue have slowed my responses to the point where it's frustrating for anyone who wants to talk to me, even, and perhaps especially, my dear wife.
But I can still get my brain into my fingers, with the just finished ukulele (it sings!) and the Spitfire.
I can still do laundry, and have it on the line so Barb doesn't have to do it.
I guess every village needs an infrastructure, and having actually worked in seismic-resistant bridge design (infrastructure!), I'm qualified?
