I agree with Micael's synopsis. But we do need to be aware in the moment that Instagram is stealing our time. I am as guilty as anyone of falling for it, so have started to take conscious breaks from it. I agree YouTube is less cynical, although it's content requires a time investment that isn't always rewarded - there is a lot of lame content there too. Once you find a good feed it is easy to stick to it and not go down too many rabbit holes
