Exactly. It seems like the key to being ok with editing one’s eternity is to be doing it voluntarily. When someone else decides to edit it for you, to edit you out of their eternity, it’s more difficult to handle. To anyone who’s trying to decide whether to request cancellation, I highly recommend initiating the process yourself rather than waiting for your ex to do it. Take your power back; reclaim your sovereignty. It’s a huge step in the healing process. Painful? Definitely. Worth it? ABSOLUTELY.
