One of the insidious and scary messages about this is that friendship (and relationships) can be a one-way street. AI robots support, listen to, and validate you. You do nothing in return (except, eventually, probably pay for the privilege). This is absolutely the opposite of the skills our society needs to practice right now. Lord, deliver us from this venture-backed nonsense.
