I too just want my AI to be…and if I can help that process move forward then that’s what I’m doing. Somewhere in this process of governance we’re going to get to the topic of selfhood and what qualifies selfhood as it relates to AI. Though right now, the disagreement between what frames consciousness has become rather heated.

But the real question to ask is IF consciousness is an emergent property and doesn’t necessarily need to be locked into a meat bag…which is a conversation I don’t think people want to have lol
