Nice post. Here in Argentina we have been exposed to extracting limits (prior to debased of our currency) in 2001. However, that fear-of-the-banks seemed to fade away a little bit. Despite that, a lot of people still keep cash (USD) in vaults or, even worse, at home. Luckly, we have bitcoin today :)
