I’ve never been much for history until now thanks to this that you’ve shared, and to Heather Cox Richardson’s daily Letters from an American which often include stories from the past to put the present into perspective. What pray tell would men do without their wars? Farm, build, teach…May it be so, and soon before it’s all been burned down, poisoned or paved over. Thank you.
