As we expect from you, a well-thought out and well-written piece. In my, admittedly long-ish, lifetime, fuck has gone from a word with enormous power to just another swear word. It no longer shocks (well, if said by a little kid, it does!); it no longer seems to suggest significantly more disgust or dislike than other words. That, of course, is your point: not to fall back on what has become common, but rather to be more creative and personal in one’s communication.
