Barely two weeks later, following a 2 hour conversation with Vladimir Putin, Trump is back on Russia's side suggesting that Ukraine needs to cede all the territory that Russia has taken through invasion. No thought for the millions of Ukrainians to be turned over. No public discussion about reparations, return of kidnapped children, justice for war crimes or the future safety of Ukraine. Really you might hope that someone with that much power would have a greater attention span and some principles. But then you would be disappointed wouldn't you.
