This is a very interesting read.

I had a friend ask me that question too. I was dumbfounded. Then she tried to explain to me that she knows that she is 'average' at her work. People know how good they are or are not. This was the time I was facing a lot of rejection for my first manuscript. It's still unpublished and her words have stayed with me.
