I was meditating on the metaphor of the Body of Christ, and each of us in Him as living cells. I am wondering, as a pathologist, do you know of any evidence of individual healthy cells having a positive effect on neighboring cells? We all know the effects of the broken and distorted cells and the disease that follows. I was just wondering, to continue the metaphor of being what God intends us to be through His life and how it does carry over into loving our neighbor, how healthy cells might effect one another.
