Thomas — yes, we must embrace our inner woke. To those in the so-called Christian National and “God fearing” religions — believe in what we say or be condemned to Hell — I say shove off. To those far left and far right political movements — I say get lost. I’m a liberal and believe in individual cognizance and responsibility. But as an individual I believe we need to recognize that this responsibility must embrace a broader concern for our community and processes for arriving at collective decisions together — not have them dictated and imposed. Decisions dictated by those of mass wealth and privilege distort such processes.

I believe “We the people” means just that. Not the anointed people. Nor the richest people. True, we the people was redefined to include all people not just propertied white men —embracing people of color and women. We “woke up” to that “inclusiveness”.

Now with the Trumphukian CABAL they want to narrow this back to a monied class of white men and their subservient women.

We the people must stand strong and loud against this.
