The term “awake” as it stands is but a mere cliché. People talk about it like it is simply a matter of having a more profound understanding of the world and of society. Yeah, like it is that simple. Folks who proclaim themselves as being “awake” or having “had an awakening” are not always mutually exclusive in their involvement with yet another buzzword (and utterly cringeworthy) group: the “truther” crowd. They treat what they contrive as their own enlightenment in a more glamorous sense than in any kind of (for lack of a better term) actuality. To summarize, those who claim to be “awake” or a “truther” are in fact (either inadvertently or deliberately) pushing mainstream dogma, red herrings and gatekeeping; poisoning the well.
