Spot on. Men can definitely be the more emotional ones, except that the emotions we see from them are often negative like anger. That is apparently a sign of strength.
The far right have long been known to use Christianity to control whilst not actually being religious themselves. It happened in Nazi Germany, it’s happening in the US now and it has happened on a smaller scale everywhere where. men of faith are using their faith to keep the women in their lives under control, often without actually understanding theology, biology or neuroscience
Basically it all boils down to fear (yes guys, fear is an emotion). These scared men are frightened by the power of women. I could write a 5000 word essay on it but we’ll take clothing as a small example because this is a feature of several religions: the clothes that women wear apparently define their goodness and showing too much skin is somehow tempting men. Women therefore are being controlled and in so doing, taking responsibility because men are not able to control their own lustful emotions. Women are a distraction that makes men weak. That is a lot of responsibility put on women for men’s failings.
So I suppose my point is, anywhere that men blame women for everything they deem to be wrong in society, any time they want to flex power against women, it is because women make them look weak, angry and mentally feeble. They should note that. It is not a good look.
