I think the rise in food prices is due to all the things you mention, but also more due to the insidious actions of government that have caused the supply problems. Killing chickens because of bogus bird flu, mysterious burning of multiple giant food processing facilities, high input costs for ranchers because of government regulations that intentionally make every aspect of cattle production more expensive. Why hasn’t this administration unburdened the coal industry, intentionally hamstrung by the criminal EPA.
