To Ari The Singer: check out Portlands’s new chorus lead by the marvelous Tim Selig! Portland Sage Singers is comprised of 80 LGBTQ+ and allies who are 55 years of age or older. We had our first concert in June at the Reser, and it sold out. Our upcoming December 3 concert at the Reser sold out in two weeks! We also have tickets for a Livestream which can be viewed for 30 days. It’s a great program, and Tim is well known for creating a true show. He even found a lovely contemporary Chanukkah song by Stephen Schwartz. By any wild chance, might you consider a solo appearance at a future concert? I know Tim and other singers would be thrilled! I think we probably could pay you, but that decision is for the Board. I am an average singer being given this opportunity to sing with excellent choristers and truly wonderful people, and it would mean a great deal for you to join us for a solo.
