This is a wonderful entry and discussion. As you brought up Sally Seton, I thought it could be interesting to find out what had happened to Sally in the years that made her almost unrecognizable. She’s such a fascinating person, and now that you connect her to Madge even moreso. What did Madge experience that made her a ‘faggot of twigs?’

I’m going to be in London in April and completely by coincidence am staying at a hotel in Tavistock Square, I believe on the site of the Woolfs’ house.. Hopefully no snow.
