Thank you, Tom for this piece. I have noticed that one of God’s great gifts of aging is that we learn to put aside the hustle of this season. Whether it’s due to distance, diminished capabilities, fractured relationships, or sheer fatigue…God’s grace to be still with Him increases as our drive to be busy decreases. Advent becomes a more real experience of waiting for God, it seems to me. Happy Advent, my friend.
