Thank you Vera. After 5 years of various therapies, the only one that has helped me is somatic experiencing therapy based on the polyvagal theory. I would love to hear your view, if you want to share that is, on the recent Substack articles attacking this method as „not scientific“ and the whole body keeps the score and nervous system regulation isn’t scientifically proven, so they are unethical or whatnot. CBT harmed me even more. Gestalt therapy didn’t really work. Talk therapy left me going insane with the triggers. But apparently these are scientific and what actually works for me (SE) isn’t.
