This is huge, because it shows that unstructured play isn't just a prepubescent thing. Could part of the problem with kids on devices be the rigid and structured medium itself (particularly social media)?

It would explain why "open world" games such as Minecraft and Roblox are incredibly popular, as they more closely resemble unstructured play...at least more than other digital platforms.
