Kuo discusses just how much importance we should ascribe to the series of votes yesterday in which voters moved toward Democrats by double-digits even in ruby red districts. Kuo writes: “Consider one more factor: The current sour mood of the voters on the economy has not yet factored in the sledgehammer that the GOP took to healthcare.”
Jay’s analysis lays out clearly why even these “special” election results should give extremists heartburn and should raise our spirits considerably. Midterms share many characteristics with specials, and these results are a major gut punch that has to affect the extremists psychologically.
