Interesting to know about your medical journey in terms of HIV/AIDS and how it paid off to listen to your own beliefs over medical professionals or others at a time when little was really known about drug treatments other than they in-and-of themselves could be a death sentence. I commend you for charting your own path and making critical “lifesaving”decisions in terms of your own treatment, that clearly allowed you to not only survive but to thrive.
