Great read! As someone who loves GLaDOS and is in the portal fandom, I genuinely never thought about the humanoid versions of her I've seen drawn. A great parallel to GLaDOS though is the humanoid designs for AM from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream - where it's generally accepted just to draw AM as Harlan Ellison, who by all means is not necessarily a thing of beauty, but just a guy.
