That was a painful long read, but worth doing, thank you. I do not believe the EU, UK and any other participants in the coalition can be forced into concessions by the USA. In my view, Russia is in an ever weakening position and so is the USA under Trump trying to save it. NATO needs Ukraine more than Ukraine needs NATO for as long as the coalition makes good on it's rapid reorganisations of our defences without the USA. Ukraine is clearly demonstrating that Russia has no effective defence against long distance attack by it's forces fighting for their very existence. Trump has now declared himself as my enemy directly by trying to coerce me as a licence holder to pay him 10billion dollars as a reward for his denied insurection. No USA or Russian security guarantee will be worth the paper it is written on and President Zelenski knows that. Nothing the USA puts forward under Trump can be a peace deal that will hold against a further attack in the future. Despite all the nuanced logical arguments in Berlin, there can be no peace unless Russia gets out of all the land that is the recognised territory of Ukraine. The current USA government has finally come out and admitted to changing sides to back the aggressors.
