I don’t know much about US funding for global health programmes, but if it seems as though the US doesn’t really care about the outcomes, is it just performative at this point? Like why invest the $1.6b if there’s no real intention to improve outcomes? Curious to know what your thoughts are on this as I think in the UK (imo) there is a sense of caring about global health outcomes, it just can often be inefficient or not very evidence-based so yeah outcomes again aren’t fully realised.
