I found the following post presenting a different viewpoint on Rosemary Barton’s interviewing techniques with Poilievre vs PM Carney quite interesting.

The author argues that Poilievre has been subject to far more leniency in his responses to her questions (generally fewer interruptions mid-answer, and fewer actual challenges on his statements historically) than PM Carney has.

One can argue that given that Carney is PM he should be under stronger scrutiny, however, this should also apply to the “leader” of the opposition (there have been too many interviews where Poilievre has not been challenged on his misinformation and disinformation).
