Very late to this party, but if you’re enjoying Daggerfall you should check in on The Wayward Realms if you haven’t already. Ted Peterson and the late Julian LeFay came out of deep RPG retirement to create a spiritual successor to Daggerfall. The project is really ambitious, but I think they have a wonderfully passionate team and I’m confident they will deliver something great.
