Another Wellness Industry™ thing that truly drives me crazy and I thought we all knew by now, but on the off chance that there is one single woman who reads this today and didn’t know it yet, please take this to heart:

Women. Are. Not. Supposed. To. Cold. Plunge.

At least not every day. Or even weekly.

We have times during our monthly cycle that it feels okay (even good) and times when it feels awful.

Learn those times.

Don’t force yourself (and your sweet uterus) into a freezing bucket of water right before your period. You’ll shock your whole system, upset it, and this will almost definitely make you exhausted or at the very least, unbalanced feeling.
