It's a lot of suffering. I have witnessed it intimately. They are telling people they don't have to relinquish identity and I have found that to be very problematic for the reasons you have expressed and also, that is simply not the teaching.

De colonizing is a lot of effort. And not a lot of right effort going on. To maintain a compassionate heart while speaking truth is my continued practice.
