Today Marxists seem to be gung ho about ‘producing’. They want more kids to be inevitably enslaved by fewer oligarchs and for less resources and time. I think it's become a case of reversed Patty Hearst with them. Could just be the ones I know of course, but I don't have much faith in Marxism these days.
