I didn’t start talking to founders to build a business.
I started because I didn’t know what else to do.
I had just been fired. My health was shaky. Cancer was suddenly part of the conversation.
Sitting still felt impossible.
So I reached out to people. One conversation at a time. No agenda. Mostly to distract myself.
I didn’t expect what happened next.
People started telling me things they hadn’t said out loud before. About pressure. About doubt. About how lonely leadership actually is.
They introduced me to others. I started writing things down so I wouldn’t forget what I was hearing.
Over time, my health stabilized. The writing didn’t stop. And a business quietly formed around it.
The work came later. The conversations came first.
