Today’s note (and this article) matter to me. I’m beginning a book on intelligence and AI: a project that somehow gathers together everything I’ve written so far.

It’s a deep dive into what intelligence really is, what judgment is, how AI mirrors (or fails to mirror) those structures, while coining a new “law” and a new “bias,” and it explores the implications that spill outward into AI use, education, politics, and our own habits of thought.
