For Wila, I think it makes the most sense for him to be a turncoat, with what we knew of him because he was very close to being one of Bryn’s bonds. Also from a gameplay perspective, there is only so long being in a cell is interesting. It forced you to adapt, so I think it was a fitting result of those misses, at least in my opinion. Happy I got caught up in time for a rescue mission!
