I have to agree with you. “Bothsidesism” which I loathe is really claiming everyone is equally culpable. But it is right and ineed necessary to point fingers at people like Schumer and Jeffries and note that none of their strong letters and hard conversations and “time and place of our choosing” is doing a damn thing. They are ineffective, whether by accident or by design I don’t care, but they are ineffective at defending the things that they claim to defend and they must be replaced or else we are toast.
