Maybe those on GLP-1 users recognize at some spiritual level that they didn't put in the work necessary to get the results?
My family is far removed from needing GLP-1s or remotely considering it for anyone. The Saturday before last our roommate Paul came out of another rehab facility. He's lost a ton of weight lately and wanted to be weighed on the scale. He was 124 which I told him was skeletal while I was 125 which is my ideal driver's license weight on my 5'8 frame albeit also thin. After several falls Paul ended up back in a facility. The rehab nurse told me he weighs 111 now, which means he lost 13 pounds in 10 days. He's around my height.
The fun thing about changing habits is that it can create a positive feedback loop. I'm pretty sure an injection bypasses that feeling of accomplishment altogether...
