Too bad our political media absolutely despises serious candidates like Carney. They want someone with glamor, excitement or charisma.They openly despised Al Gore for being too focused on serious issues and much preferred the towel-snapping, AWOL Dubya because he was “more fun to have a beer with”. There are untold numbers of people who died in Iraq because of that stupidity.
