Re: Trust

“…But if I boil it down, maybe trust for me means living as if what God has shown me is true, to an infinite (literally) degree.”  // I was recently thinking about a premise that ‘we love because he first loved us…” and how believing that God loves me (and every other human) is part of this ‘trusting God.’ Somewhere Brennan Manning says that he believes that when we meet God face-to-face he will ask us just one question: “Did you truly believe that I loved you?” Believing that God ‘exists’ is a head thing. A dry fact. A logical theorum. But believing and trusting in his love for me (all of us) is a different thing. I think that it makes all the difference as to how, and how much, my ‘belief’ actually changes me from the inside out.
